Quote:TB I’m in, that is of course if you can put up with a slow newbie with 4hrs saddle time. If I am going to slow the group up too much let me know and I will give it a miss for this time. You will be right Swaz, listen to any helpful advice guys give you. Don’t ride outside your comfort zone because you lose more time with a crash then being a little slower. You come from a road bike back ground you will be fine.

I know Rick’s boys are racing it ( they live outside fiddle town) his eldest is waiting on his bike back from Tekniks

That statement is a bit harsh,

Things may have gone smoother had my face not been throbbing like a honeymooners dick and I could concentrate just a little on the job at hand. :S
Harsh maybe, but you left a tyre lever in the tyre once, and you missed a dirty great nail hanging out of it another time    not harsh just funny
Great ride report and an awesome adventure

Hey Kram where was your tube, patches, tools etc? You had better sort that our before we tackle the high country and the week long after tour
One tube, two bikes, 150kms from home, no tyre changing skills or ability = this ride report

Chris72aWe will do a 2 man cornerman this ride, please read the cornerman post if you aren’t 100% sure how it works see here
As per the first post 8.30 start time both days, lunch at the pub, bring all your fuel for the weekend as there is no service station at Hampton. Remember it’s a trail ride all in the interests of fun. There will be singles, twins, couple of short bitumen transports (very very small, just getting to and from the pub)
Daniel from Sutto’s will help all tyres, flats and anything else Saturday night and Sunday because he is to lazy to sign up

If anyone has been left from the list please yell out, any questions ?
