Katgirl, it’s not a race and don’t think you need to ride faster. So come along.

Next up, planning Denman pub for lunch on the 27th if I don’t get lost on the way.

Saturday the 28th would work for me as I have to work on Sunday the 29th B)

    Mick

Well Saturday and Sunday then :silly:

I’d prefer Saturday 28th at this stage.

TB and Krusty (and anyone) can you make Saturday 28 Aug???

No I will be traveling back from Adelaide on saturday, you go saturday and I will find you all lost on Sunday  :P

Was just talking to Mick, was great listening to him say how he was hitting things he wouldnt normally hit at speeds he doesnt normally ride and was doing it easy by the sounds. He made an adjustment to the rebound in the forks to improve it.

Good on you Mick, jealous you were out there this arvo mate in gods country ;)

This sounds like the best thing since linkages( put that in just for you pds lads) to me, what a great idea as the regional areas have basically no experts in suspension, being the black art it is.

Your right Blue. The biggest thing that I noticed was the lack of maintained linkages, air boxes (not just Micks, so I’m not picking on you Mick) and steering head bearings in low mileage bikes. It has made me rethink my own maintenance practices because the best suspension in the world wont give you the full benefit with those things seized, binding or not working correctly

Also there is talk of an old bull / Tekinks weekend further up the coast so stay tuned Mr Blue

I just got home from a massive weekend, cheers to Moose and Kathy for letting their shed and farm be over run. Mick and Lesa for the accommodation and Brad and Nick for their hard work. I just spoke with them and they will be finished and leaving for the 5 hour drive home in an hour.

Everyone seemed happy with the results and I know the guys have been encouraged to call and ask questions should they need to fine tune

I learned a lot this weekend it was for me very interesting and educational
