Welcome Trev, will keep the Camerons thread updated etc so there should be some helpful details there (and shit no doubt
)Watchout for Blue

Yeah Unibiker, Crash and I researched guards for the 650 and that was the conclusion huge in the states where 650’s have a cult following. They bolt together and brace across the back and front and to the frame. Pains to fit but other then that all good. No guard would have prevented the damaged radiator I had at Wauchope as the bike fell from a height straight onto stump end on.
My opinion good things, and I tried 2 other brands first before the Unibikers, we purchased them through thumpertalks online store

No worries Scotty happy I could help. Mal5.1 has one and likes it and I am now thinking about one for the XR but wasnt impressed years ago with their cheaper cousin but it all seems better now
Cheers again mate

Quote:Its very hard to get goggles that fit in the zeus although I do have a pair of Oakley O frames that fit nicely. For those times you want to wear goggles instead of having the visor down.I wouldnt wear the Zeus with Goggles   I think I will wear my M2R helmet with my collection of goggles
Or one of my 7 other helmets, maybe I should get a corner helmet (I name them for the occasion I purchase them   )I will try a few different things you have suggested with the Zeus Bowie because it does have a few very good features
TB
I have a Zeus Kat and wont be wearing it when I go to the corner. I dont like the way the dust gets into to my eyes from up underneath, where goggles seal against your face. Personal thing maybe but thats my take on it.

Actions speak here for sure. The amount of time I am away riding, the hours I spend organising rides, sponsors, peoples requests, site dramas, working on bikes (mine and other peoples), phone calls, on the site and general running around couldn’t be done without someone as understanding as Salina. Add in my time away interstate with work  Her return on all that is me  lop sided deal maybe

Cheers babe

Funny that was my first thought  , the old bent camshaft   WTF how does a camshaft get bent Corey? A bent gear yes maybe  , or the gear not on the shaft square but a bent cam

Quote:Has anyone booked any accommodation yet?The only nights accommodation we will be booking at this stage is the Sunday night (the 10th) in Condobolin at the Condobolin hotel. Every other night we will camp or if we end up somewhere and jag some accommodation well maybe. Camp on a creek for a wash  maybe pay for a shower at a pub or caravan park whatever
One very important detail
Need to know how many people require parking for their car and trailer for the week we are away asap so they can organise the space.
CheersTB
Hey this is on this weekend, have a safe ride Menace and others. Look forward to some photos and a report, wish I was going on this one after all the fun and great riding conditions we had at my first OBT Vic ride
TB
I reckon thats right in my opinion as well Aaron
but you cant beat an ‘o’ring chain. Maybe you cant get the lube in but its in there cause an ‘o’ ring chain always gets far more miles then a normal chain on over 125cc bikesTB
Try a VAPOR TRAIL TECH SPEEDO/TACHO mate some kit numbers here
You see them on E Bay sometimes.
Thermo fan would be good if you do a lot of real slow going, stop start etc. They can be purchased in kit form although some guys use ball bearing computer fans with an on / off switch on the bars
TB
Acerbis do a kit, complete comes in a box Al, have seen them at BTO motorsports and Motorcross giant. I also know Mal at Sutto’s has been doing pretty sweet specials on polisport plastics which are good. Speak with Mal if you chase them up at Sutto’s tell Mal I sent you
