So I bought big Ten home today, had some pre-flight dramas before take off at Chickens. Had to remove the rear brake pedal and straighten it up, bit of heat and happy days, got dressed and got it started and found a damaged radiator hose leaking with a pin hole in to, must have been damaged it the accident. Also found the crash was heaps bigger then I first thought it seems the crash bar did a bigger job then I thought. It is moved back a lot and has bend all the mounting brackets will take some photos tomorrow :( But it can be fixed. Also found my helmet was damaged in the accident as well and needs to be binned it seems :(

I will get another hose tomorrow (we shortened the other one to get out of trouble) and put new coolant in it. Wait for the photos and story on the F*#ken radiator cap placement Yamaha you sux

Anyway count myself very lucky and enjoyed a great ride and a catch up with Kat at the pie in the sky :)

A site worth a look Andy Strapz Web Site

I have Andy Strapz Soft Panniers that I have burnt and had repaired and now crash tested and they are still good.

I recently purchased flat strapz because I was sick and tired of ocky straps and then I had one come of and hit me in the head. Also the narrowier ocky straps seem to bite into everything where these strapz are wider and have a bigger working range where an ocky is either to short or to long these are better. I just bought another two sets as I tried a set and am happy with them

    Anyway its worth a look

Hey Krusty no word back from the Yoko man which is a shame mine have been ok the back has handled hits big enough to break the hub. The fronts got some dents (looks like a stop sign) but for the price they have done ok. Last I heard he was moving and getting out of the rim / hub business soon must have happened already :(

Ummm Menace its actually a KTM thing I thought seen it fitted by the KTM boys at the A4DE in 2009 the first time I saw it and see it at Sutto’s all the time

The idea is great it prevents the bash plate from filling with mud and getting heavier and heavier. Expand your mind mate

    you nutter :laugh :P :

TB what’s the freeze dried stuff? web site? Brand?

I have used a few and like Back Country brand the best buts that a personal thing. I am only taking a couple in the saddle bags in case we dont meet the support vehicle or they are late because Bollocks gets drunk passes out and PEP cant get him back in the ute

I bought mine from a camping shop but here is an on-line shop for you

I will take a little burner to make a coffee and boil water, easy. I normally just pour the hot water in the bag and eat out of it saves washing up

Here is a sepo talking about them (make Krusty home sick for his fellow sepo’s   )
