I have been using the same set on my dirt bikes now for 42 years  and touch wood have never been booked for using them.

I don’t have a picture of them but I found a picture of a set a guy has fitted to a push bike (so they will fit a KTM) :P

    Hope that helps ;)

I cant wheelie it very good yet, Mal from Sutto’s rode his 990 kato up and meet be it the rain and dark at Somersby and he had a ride at Cowan on my bike and did a wheelie  We also stopped to see a mate who has a long private bitumen drive way ;) so I tested the new bike it will cruise on 130 and ran out to 152 before the driveway ran out

I am probably talking to the iniatiated here, TB do you have a business plan for such?

just making sure as you don’t want to annoy existing sponsers by attracting too many of their main competitors….yet.

Nothing wrong with a various dealers from different areas, but atm the industry is undergoing some forced rationalisation (shop closures en-masse up here) so the ones that hare here for the long haul are the best.

No Bruce we welcome sponsors / supporters from all over actually our sponsors are located from Tasmania to Telegraph Point already :)
We wont support a shop or product just for money, its something Chris and I discussed early in the piece. Thats why we dont have a Honda or Yamaha dealer.

I will discuss it with you over an ale at Wauchope ;)

So is the springs to soft on them? The nx is to soft and heavy for anything other than a fire trail but its great for touring on

Hey XRTRAILHACK maybe you should see what these blokes do on there NX650’s. Bit more than fire trail touring.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWxDbjj7dFo

All they did was ride them through water and open trails? Everytime the trail tightened or got hard they fell off or carried the bike up. I’m sure people do ride them hard but that video wasn’t a great example!

Nice bike TB, it looks tidy. I like the color too. Welcome to the Yamaha ownership club :)

I’ve seen hard core enduro bikes man handled over lesser territory than that (even KTM’s). So if where they took them big bikes does not impress you than maybe you should enter the next Erzberg, you’d be a shoe in for the win.

Yeah I reckon Scotty is right I was impressed enough. I have tried similar on an NX, SEE HERE
I can speak from experience they haven’t a lot of suspension they are heavy and not a lot of fun hard core of road :P And having ridden a LC4 and an NX you cant compare them except they both have wheels  I think they do a pretty good job on the video all things considered   (dont take any notice of that Mick you will love your new NX :P )

Cheers on the welcome to the Yamaha club Moto, I think my membership number was just on hold as I have had few Yamaha’s before ;) and have always been happy with them. Its a nice bike and I hope to get it out on the dirt this weekend, I will take so photos tomorrow. Mate my ride home was like your Yamaha ride home, weather wise anyway :P
