Today I spoke with the Capertee service station owner and informed him there will be 45 odd bikes arriving for fuel and a bite both days :laugh:

We will regroup at the servo in case anyone wants to swap routes eg join the B route.

If we get in a line once we get there, fuel your bike the servo guy will write the amount for you on a ticket, wheel your bike out of the way and go and pay. We dont want to spend all day there as we have a way to go and want to get to Sofala and relax

Cheers Mickp I sorted through all the prizes the other night with Mick and worked out what is going where. I dont want to give to much away but here are where some of the prizes will be going. We are lucky as the Old Bull of the year for 2010 will be there and I picked up their helmet today thanks Sutto’s for supplying that (hopefully the size will be right, I got it from a dodgy source :laugh: )

Boony I think if the Christmas Party is on early October again it will only be 4 or 5 weeks apart which causes drama for people :huh: Also have you checked the race calendars its three weeks or so after yellow mountain also pay to check with the fire brigade for burn offs :laugh: Just some stuff to think over

Mick I thought the same the other night while in the shed when I first looked at it, but it wasn’t and I can show you why if you bring the barrel and piston down here next week with you. There is a mechanical reason it wasn’t look closely. Even without the mechanical reason the prevents it contacting wouldnt the old piston would have contacted the flapper but it cant. The ticking noise was the broken ring catching the exhaust port.

I am convinced even more after you described the problem you had fitting the ring that broke that am installation problem caused it. Sorry mate
