I said to Scott and Mal at Sutto’s this arvo do an Old Bull price and get them on the site

They are near $30 bucks cheaper then Ballards

Anyone going on the Sofala ride can purchase theirs and I will pick it up and bring it home or to the start for youTB
That is a nice setup Dan for sure, those Andy Strapz bags are great mate but aren’t water proof

The KLR is very cheap and will do the job they have a loyal following that they deserve. I looked but decided I wanted something with a little more zing no offence to anyone please. Something I could wheel with a bit more pace when on my own, a little more suspension travel etc I know with NX at time I feel I wiould like something a little more capable if youknow what I mean. Although may not be has comfortable as the KLR, V Strom and BMW.
That said I would buy a KTM 640 Adventure if they still made them, maybe a low mileage 2007 would sway me

Good looking specs

Quote:Isn’t it the case that if you cahnge your chain regulary enough you should not have to change your sprockets?STM
Thats sort of correct but with a strong tough steel sprocket like a chain gang the chain stretching creates most wear.
I am on my 2nd chain on my chain gang sprocket with over 4000kms on the sprocket, 4 front sprockets in that time.
With cheaper sprockets and chains always replace as a set
Always run the biggest front sprocket you can and change the rear size to get your gearing the way you want it. The fronts last longer when larger, chain runs cooler and lasts longer
TB
Just a thought Dan, I know you will normally get two chains to a rear chain gang sprocket and about 5 fronts  if you change it before the back chain gets past that point and starts hooking the back sprocket
