Successfully clearing the river is no reason to lose your head

The last thing through the riders mind was his spine
Saturday my take
After having a listening to it rain all nite, still battling the flu and having a crap nites sleep I was in two minds about even going but I could miss boot camp

We got suited and left at 6am, again Mick showed more arse then a bus load of poofters as usual. We arrived at the farm stay for a smick breakfast, there was some dusty looking characters there
Once I had a feed I went outside to suss it out
The view over Bago bluff

The mighty Cat 600 and a line of BRP’s waiting to take on the forest

Bollocks getting ready, Holeshot couldn’t give a stiff shit, no really couldn’t

So of we went some great trails again enjoying floating through the pack was a good pace and sweet trails right up until the big girl and I ended up stumped so to speak
To Crash, Rider X, Mal5.1 and The Rowan that helped me get the Fiddy up that hill, cheers guys

The boys turned up and loaded the bikesCrash loading his BRP after a swim

Crash showing our tough he his lugging that 650 complete with Nav gear through boot camp

Mal5.1 just starting to show at 4 months now

TB
Thats an idea AB he does do good work. I will do it as well if they bring it down, buy the parts and come for a drive if he is unsure Jeffro, bring the bike complete take me 1 to 1.5hrs total job and only charge 6 bundys  Sounds like you have it covered though

TB
You are welcome mate. I can give you the spec’s and tensions if he needs it. Its simple once the timing marks are aligned

I saw on the news that David Byrnes Motorcycles was on fire with the surf shop pity they were pretty good there I dealt with them a little when I worked on the south coast and bought a DR with a mate from them. There was a gas main or outlet that burnt for ever that was causing the HWY to be shut for hours they said, they couldnt put it out
RIP old mate in the forest, does sound strange see what comes of that in the next couple days
TB
Jeffro they make a helicoil kit for all spark plug threads I am sure. If it was me I would pop the head of to do it because they are easy to do and only cost you a head gasket, otherwise heaps of grease on the drill bit and tap to catch the metal fragments should be right.
If I can help PM me mate
Otherwise I have a spare XR70 cylinder head at home which we maybe able to work a deal as an exchange or such

Bruce I dont know what to say, I sit here in my motel room with my heart aching for you, your young bloke and your family.

Mate that is more than kind of you. I would love to learn how to do services myself and learn more about the mechanics of my bike. I think for this time I will empty my pockets to Procycles   I will just tell them there is pretty much nothing wrong with the bike so im not expecting to be hit up for much. I just really want them to check a few little things and clean her up around the edges. Hopefully in the not so distant future I can still take you up on the offer
