You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want

But if you try sometimes you just might find
    You get what you need

I found those settings to be horrible for what it’s worth. The KTM ‘sport’ settings which are the harshest of the 3 options were best.

Yeah you said they didnt suit you and between that and the power setup of the bike wore you out. Its tough getting it right.

Although Nick did ask for feedback for more help

You need to experiment as it helps you develop skills in set-up plus it helps me as you can give better feedback on what did and did not work on the stock settings.

    Nick

I have changed my settings a lot from what was recommended to me on the back but my front was on the money from when Fathead set it up when he serviced them last. I am spending a day with Mal5.1 soon doing nothing but setup and recording figures and results for his setup.

Hatto I have been trying to fix the technical problem and have rang Nick today

Hey Mick. How far is it between fuel stops on Friday? I only get about 80km out of my bike but I can carry 3L in my pack.

    Weather looks good mate. :woohoo:

Ummmmmm… The first fuel stop is at the 100km mark. I am working on a fuel plan for you and TB though.

Anyone who thinks they may need fuel please let me know and I can have some ready for you. I live in Rollands Plains and will be joining the ride on Friday from the corner of Rollands Plains Rd and Reids Rd, which at my guesstimate is probably about 20 or 25 klm’s from Mooses place. This would be an ideal place for a top up of fuel as the house on this corner is a good friend of mine and I will be able to store fuel safely at this location. PM me if I am able to assist you.

    Blue450

Well there you go. Thanks Blue450. Mal5.1 there is an option for you that will save me the drive out to hide some fuel.

Well indeed Mick shows your theory / practice works eh?

We should be ok Mick. Crash has about 80L on board with his big arse tank. We’ll just take some of his when he’s not looking.

Should be easy to do Mal as he is doing the whole weekend in Safari trim nav gear and all, he will probably be signing safari photos whenever we stop

Just back sure the rippers are down when you climb up to the tank near the R.O.P.S :silly: :P
