Dan has an after market safari tank on his WR and purchased said tank from e bay. I have both safari and clark aftermarket tanks and would recommend either brand.
Was it an hot day there, you should do better then that and it sounds like it was a one of because you haven’t mentioned it here before maybe?
Was it flat smooth easy going when you switched onto reserve? I ask this because being like that you may have still had a wack of fuel on the other side of you tank you would normally use (the rougher riding throws the fuel over the spine to the pick up) I have had this happen to me on transport sections where I have had to go onto reserve but have been able to go back to the on postion when got back in the singles if that makes sense

Well the ride to collect the new bike was very much anticipated for Salina and myself. Its lucky I have access to some of the pictures from today that Mal cant load at work
Donna mentioned Trekkie fans at 4.30am this morning in her report, we found that interesting because I am reliably informed the only Trekkie fans around was Mal and Donna returning from Portland RSL weekly Trekkie convention at that time this would explain their tired look all day

Sure they made it to the thriving Mt Vic train station

Where they waited for the new Portland flyer express train from their home town

And then like Donna said the ceremony of handing over the keys took place

A quick trip as Donna said to the pie in the sky to meet Wikdbemmer and practice the BMW wave, here is Donna and Mal doing the wave for the BMW riders at the pie in the sky

(nice wig Mal
)Mal tucked into a pie or 8

We ducked down to MCA for a jacket and helmet etc for the girls but all the old stuff still had to be transport home didnt it  That didnt stop the girls did it no
So we loaded my Trusty Honda NX up with all the goods, not the new BMW oh no thats to new
Didnt matter how many different ways I loaded it, it still looked over loaded

And on the road from behind

Side view on the road

And another view

But the trusty old NX made it to the pub for lunch
Where of course I had a salad
We then set of home I felt like I would have been better driving a

And I got to say traveling across the below would have been easier

Mean while Mal and Donna gave the new bemmer is head

A great day was had by all, thanks guys and I dont mind loading the photos
Cheers TB
