Smithy where did you go when you got to Glendenbo? How long did it take from Ceduna? And did you have a support vehicle?

They are making to much money out of 4 strokes, well the japs are at least. I believe the Euro’s would be pushing for the 2 stroke resurgence but the Japs have conspired with the Governing bodies to continue with the 4ts. My opinion only ;)

Yeah Ollie and Elvis is alive, we didnt go to the moon blah blah blah

Dont you think the performance of the Yamaha 400F that Doug Henry rode when it first exploded on the AMA race and won everything then sold millions, then every other manufacturer went with the demand. With these high stress four strokes engines came the cost of having one that is turning people away. Four strokes and two strokes will always be here and the debate will rage on forever each have a following as much as each has an area where they will be better then the other

The green moved world wide is so powerful you only have to work in the industry I do to know how they are controlling governments to understand why the smelly smokey two strokes of yesteryear had to clean their act up. Its been good for the sport I think

I wonder what the hold up is? Manufacturers have been using fuel injected two strokes in boat engines for a while now so why not bikes?

How to Eat Dirt was demonstrated on numerous occasions, also how to whinge & whine about your sore bones & not ride any further was on the agenda too I think

You missed one thing Eagle the excuses for the crashes   The excuses where flying off here and there almost as much as Ollie’s de-laminating rear retread was throwing its tread

I hear these courses are the go, but I know from experience sometimes getting your kids to do it even with a coach confirmed date can be a hassle

But yes the schools are very good ;)

Well I did 525kms last Saturday in motard trim and used my new M2R helmet for the ride. I dont normally use a motorcross helmet for motard as the big peak normally trys ripping your head back all the time when over 100kph. The M2R I noticed had a fair range of peak adjustment so I gave it a try and it was great with the peak down as far as it would go.
Its such a light comfortable helmet easily more comfortable then the more expensive Shoei’s etc that I used to wear and the previous model M2R that I still have that I thought was the best helmet I ever had.

TB, thanks for the heartfelt starting of the thread in the first place, I can see you put heaps of planning and forethought into it, you are the MAN :P :P :P

Hey knobwad I gave enough forethought to it to make sure the thread was started didnt I. I knew Mick was going to the track all day and he only looks or partakes in threads about him or have the name Wauchope or he starts :P (that’s for the ice cream ) :P I thought it shouldn’t slip under the radar because you are such a sensitive little possum. Next year I will write this “. .” hope you enjoy that instead
