It is a fairly low key open ride that I mainly organised so I could see how the shoulder goes before I get into the harder stuff. The route is mainly open running so you maybe better of with open ish gearing. I will know more after I pre run it anyway.
Chops banana is a better bike in ALL conditions with faster rather the slower gearing because of the power characteristics of the DR engine as you will find out after you try the low gearing

Quote:what size main jeyou running in your bike?Sorry champ I only just saw this post.
I run a 68s pilot, 68 pilot jet is similar to the 68s. They both share the same main orifice size for the discharge nozzle, but the 68s has smaller emulsion holes on the sides of its tube. The smaller holes on the 68s pilot jet reduces the amount of air that mixes with the fuel before the emulsified mixture is discharged through the jet’s nozzle.
I run 205 main although its a tad rich and has been the blackening the number plate up in motard spec lately
I may go back to a 190 again later but need to visit Fathead and get the mixture right on the dynoTB
Smithy as Beagle said Tee n Cee signs to a ripper job. There are so thick and amazing quailty. Mine are 3 years old and protect the plastics so well.

Remember the old saying “Got a $10 head wear a $10 helmet”
I reckon that some meet all the necessary standards, some scrape through and meet the standards and some easily exceed the standards.
If you reckon you get the same protection from a cheap $100 helmet as you do a top brand or range helmet maybe the damage is done and you dont need one :laugh:TB

Yeah we are looking at different options at the minute Jeffro. We have been thinking of going up to Moto’s but that extra hour could be a killer in the saddle

Then its an extra in the morning but will see. We are thinking of staying at your place Jeffro, drinking all your beers and trashing the joint as your not there
