Cheaper smeeper or whatever Trevor M2R at Sutto’s great value under $200 and probably would have gone down that path if I hadnt already ordered the Fly racing Helmet. All helmets have to be made to conform to a standard. The one I have is made from Poly alloy composites and not el cheapo ABS. As long as it is safe, comfortable good air flow and light its all ticks in the box for me.

Boony you did the right thing by replacing your helmet after a decent knock.

    Ollie

Yeah I agree Ollie, I will continue to replace mine every couple of years or after a knock like you say.

How true necessity is the mother of all invention ;) To bad that didnt happen in PNG, you would have slid straight into one of those tribes with the strange body decorations. How far in was the stick? I have the same big tank, does yours have the brace across the front between the tank pods? The radiators look unmarked with is incredible considering.

So where did this custom body art and bike modification take place and how did it happen?

There is special tools like the ones Ollie had at Louee

You can use a pair of large multi grips and a small 8 mm nut.

Put the plate on as best you can and use the nut over the pins where you will fit the circlip, squeeze each end bit at a time until you can fit the circlip, closed end facing direction of the chain travel
