Yeah good job Mick and thanks again to Dan the man

TB
Welcome champ, sorry about Menace  , you will have fun here I am sure
TB
TB’s Heart Felt Thanks
I would like to thank everyone that has helped me throughout 2009, on a personal level I finally over came a massive hurtle this year with help from a close friend, without whom I would still be struggling, cheers mate you know who you are. To all of my closet friends here, thanks for everything you do for me and my family.
I would like to thank Chris, Chris always amazes me when it comes to the technical side of the web site and anything to do with a computer or technology. Chris also keeps all the computers here at home running for me and trust me I go through a laptop or three this year. Chris doesnt always appear to be here but he is never far away, cheers mate it wouldn’t be here without you.
To the Admin team,
Mick who helps write / co write 90% of our news letters, helps write the sponsors proposals, helps with anything on the north coast, accommodates me at Wauchope, looks after my bikes, chases stuff up and generally takes a good flogging every now and then cheers mate you are a legend.
Moto, someone whose opinion I seek from time to time on a wide range of issues, someone who is always thinking about OBT and a moderator that puts it out there without fear, a drinker without fear of the next days ride, a maintance king, a fierce competitor on or of the bike or with or without knowledge, thanks my pommy mate you have been a find for sure I need to get to the bay and have some beers with you soon.
Menace, Jesus what can be said here, ha STOP BRINGING FLOWERS EVERYTIME YOU COME TO MY BLOODY PLACE !! You and Sammy are always welcome here. Menace armed me with the lesson for 2009 that I will carry forward forever here and that was “Never say something here on the site that you wouldn’t say face to face at the pub for fear of getting punched in the face”
I look at Menace and realise that a face like that must have learned that lesson the hard way ha ha ha ha. Cheers mate your welcome at home anytime.Dan for not only building the sponsor clocks but helping me run rides and all the other things you and Kylie do helping here. Also for providing me with somewhere to stay and run the rides from. Kylie for jump starting the Motard craze as well as cooking advice, removing splitters, sticking it up the guys, helping admin, riding like a pro and many other things she strives to perfect herself at.
I am sitting here thinking about all the people I have meet this year and all those I haven’t that I feel like I have, the personalities, the characters etc its mind boggling what we have here at OBT. I would like to write about so many people that help us here but I cant, I hope I show everyone that I appreciate their efforts throughout the year.
Everybody here makes OBT what it is and I do mean everybody. The network that is OBT is something that I feel is exclusive to OBT as far as web sites go and that’s not a program or a software thing that’s all you fantastic people.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our incredible supporters / site sponsors in no particular order : Jack links Beef Jerky, Pivot Pegz, Battyes Bikes, Sutto’s, Muc-Off, 4BP, Mud and Tar, Tee n Cee signs and our latest Teknik Motorsport. Without these supporters OBT wouldn’t be here and remain a free site.
2010 will see a new suspension forum where you will be able to get help and advice from Nick and Brad at Tekniks, a OBT team at the A4DE, an OBT team at the Condo 750 and Yellow Mountain. We hope to run our first charity ride and many other rides and social events
So thanks to YOU all from me, have a safe and Merry Christmas

I would of thought of a better come back but didn’t think you were worth it

Whatever Puddles, I have to be careful we don’t want a repeat of the Louee incident when you got some dust on you and you got all bent outa shape at Dan
Have a good night Puddles
Hey Strucky you got any pic’s/ x rays ??

The only one that got bent out of shape was your boyfriend over exaggerating what I had said to him
When a faster rider passes you, dust does sometimes blow back you of all people should know that from experience

I give up but Piddles
, OK Piddles done you win . Just a tip next time get someone smarter then you to help with the witty replies, in your case a door knob or something would be smarter
:laugh:Now back on topic again
Strucky you got any pic’s/ x rays ?? Also what happened why did you crash??

Not what you were saying to me on the phone when you were calling me a trouble maker you Dag, I will have to change your nickname to snake-man rod he who speaks with forked tongue because two things come out of your mouth, depending on who you are talking to.
Hey rat what are you on. my comment was only about the debate Strucky’s incident has caused. nothing to do with my own personal opinion which I shared with you via phone but have chosen not to share on this site. I think you need to take a deep breath & step back for a minute & not read into things to much or get f#@%$d because my opinion is mine & if you don’t like it bite me
Ha ha puddles you are such a girl
Rat you need to calm down really mate you will do yourself a injury

Quote:Well, seeing as I’m not eligible for Medicare my insurance premiums are not the same as the Aussie’s, they are typically 4 times higher. Your personal insurance cover for Australian citizens is like a gap insurance with the insurer paying the difference between the Medicare portion of the bill and the total billable amount.Since Medicare don’t pay any ambo fees the above only applies to surgery. However, since I’m also a temporary resident any ‘non elective’ surgery, hospital or ambo costs are covered by the UK government just like my thumb, I didn’t end up paying a penny (I should say a cent
).That’s great in practice but can you imagine me trying to tell the MA or MCNSW that. So, as per my original post, does anyone know if you have to prove you have ambo cover or not as I don’t want to pay for something I’m already covered for?
Well smarty isn’t under your reasoning that you are a UK citizen and they will pay for it proof enough, that makes sense to me (bloody Poms  ) take your passport to the race   and use when you leave

Quote:Also noticed it said that you have to have ambulance cover. I don’t have this, do they check? Does anyone know? It’s going to get even more expensive if I have to start taking insurance policies out as well

If you have a fall and get air lifted the $85 – $140 dollar a year ambulance cover is somewhat cheaper then a $8000 + air ambulance bill according to my maths
(not Rats maths though   )TB
