Kylie there are push bike ones that STM is talking about that would be good and prevent the Orange ride chaff problem

They are the ones I was talking about on the phoneThe others I mentioned early in this thread are the block thicker pad Ballard ones
Just thinking I reckon the tighter jeans wouldn’t help you cause either, ever think about that?

The guy doesnt mention if its any good, nor to you need to move your arse as much backwards or forwards on a road bike from my experience.
All you can do is let mister thrifty loose and keep us posted if anyone can Dan will do it

So today was the big drill the broken stud out of the barrel day.
First I drilled the small pilot hole and got it right in the centre happy days, stepped up a couple of drill sizes and tried a small easy out no good. Drilled up another of sizes, whilst doing this the engine rolls forward and snaps the drill bit of in the barrel  . So I go and get a bundy
I get a small centre punch and shatter the drill bit, and finish drilling it. Select next size easy out and it snaps off  An inspection shows the easy out was already fractured  But it had a little bit sticking out and came straight out
It was the Bundy
So I drilled it out in steps and tapped it to the correct sizeBefore

After

So I fitted the swing arm

Fitted the front end, regreased and repacked the headset and triple clamps front guard handle bars etc

Got the barrel and cylinder head painted

Tomorrow I will get the engine finished and back in the frame. The tank has to go to be restored yet. The front wheel needs some extensive clean up work and I am waiting on a care package from the new owners that I will get this weekend

Its not long ago that two strokes won all the major long distance races where they got held wide open for extended periods ie: Finke, Hattah, Baja etc to name a few. It wont matter a big rats rectum if it runs 50 to 1 or 25 to 1 if its not jetted correctly. If its jetted to lean it wont matter what oil mixture you run. If its sucking air between the carburettor and the cylinder head again wont matter what mixture you run.
If it is jetted to hold it wide open you can hold it wide open its simple and fact.
