Well after a discussion with Dave on the phone he understands I would have wished to burn the bikes as I said even if they happened to be Hondas
A couple of points cleared up
It is no reflection of Dave and his ability as a tuner or KTM owner
It was agreed I had stated it was a 2nd hand bike at the start of the thread and I had a better run over the years with other 2nd hand bikes
It was also agreed it had done a million hrs, and I had never disputed that in the entire thread
Dave is still rebuilding the MA50 which I am very happy with because he is the KTM mini bike king

And Dave may have gone off half cocked, I hope I can say that Dave
And it wasnt my comment that set him of.
Now back on topic
Dave will be sorting shortly what exactly has gone wrong with the little MA so we can have it ripping for Kieran again

We did singles behind the olds and over the back into the bush and the pines.
I would have shown you a heap more over there on the northern side if you know where to access it, maybe next year after my shoulder is back to new and I can throw the bike around a little better as I am to nervous about damaging it more at the minute
Thanks to the dubbo boys for what was a great days riding

Where are they going to put everyone… There is only 2 pubs in town for accomodation. Bathurst and Lithgow are 25 mins away.
The small surrounding towns may do alright out of it though. But I’ll be there anyway. I would have to really as I live close by. Donna has already put her annual leave form in to be my pit crew.
I will give you a hand Mal if you would like

Yeah two banger all the PPE wont as it should, pays to have it for sure
I checked the bash plate out today as I thought thats got to be bent in someway because it was a hard hit. Well I have to give Whipps bash plates a huge rap because I hit that tree bloody hard and it isnt bent as all.
The plate protects everything, it is easy enough to removed yet mounted well enough that it has never come loose. I thought the impact may have bent the mounting bolts but no everything is sweet. Two thumbs up Whipps like all their productsTB
Did you get hurt Boony?

Maybe that’s the next caption photo, nice jersey Fes

Not a problem WB
, I dont think it will cause you any grief based upon our phone call butTB
Nice looking ride Bruce, very all about the business I really like that, although the site stickers not so much

Oh the incident with the tree I have to say I am so happy I wear Astrisk knee braces because the impact with the tree was fairly large and sent me flying with no time to warn Dan via the intercom that there was in fact a man down  as is the rule. The right hand knee area of my pants showed a hard impact but this morning inspection of myself or my brace shows no sign of the incident
The other thing is the steel toe pad for the alloy rear brake lever was bent and snapped of at one end with out the brake snake that I had fitted I am sure the alloy lever would have bent and snapped for sure costing me a small fortune (but less than a KTM for sure)

Tolerances are like chipper stuff so don’t stress to much.It runs at 60:1 which is 16.66666666666666666667 ml’s per litre
Like someone else mentioned I’ll do a little chart. It doesn’t detract from the fact that I have to have a little chart and piss about with it in the first place though!
And that will be so easy to work out when you stop at a servo to top up and add 7.6 litres
Easy eh

Dave you have issues and should have them looked at, see no smiley face added
You accuse me of “I love Honda/I hate KTM” glasses but what does any of this have to do with you. It isnt your bike, its not your workmanship you arent KTM so why are you so worked up
So unlike you to go of half cocked with the facts all arse up
Go back and reread the posts and you will see how I said it is a good thingTrailboss wrote:

The reason you only just found out about the 85 is because I only drained and measured the oil that same afternoon I mentioned it
I haven’t asked you to take any responsibility for the 85 and wont be I understand 2nd bikes etc nor did I ever expect you to be responsible for it, you did all the talk not me
Please put the 50 parts in a box and I will take it home dont fix it
What I expected from these bikes was only the sort of run from all the 2nd hand bikes I have always had, I have only had one new bike in my life myself and the kids dont ride well enough to thrash them. We had CR80’s, RM’s60’s, MR 50’S, YZ100’s that went for years with no maintenance at all, none at all so maybe I expected wrongly something similar from these bikes
The only other 2nd bike I have ever had that gave me this much trouble and failed a main brg was my KTM 250XC two stroke strange eh
Dave if I cant be upset at the fact these failed because the kids dont have their bikes going well then I dont know what to do but you dont have to worry about it nor should you be going of unless the KTM Glasses are on
This has nothing to do with you expect you where rebuilding it which has nothing to do with the whole thing has it? No it doesnt
