Yes I’m going to try a VE33 if I can find one.

Speak with Mal at Sutto’s mate he had them and is getting more, tell him I sent you and to pull his finger out with the new tyres  , they charge $10 frieght for the tyres and we paid $100 bucks for the VE33 so its still cheap

Wasting your time STM, he is to one eyed. I have been held up by the gasser at Wauchope and passed him twice that day in conditions that suit the lighter bike but hey what do I know  Just give up :P Shit I got roosted to when he got stuck in the bog hole and I slammed into his back wheel

Hey if I was 85 kilos I would have a WR 250 F everyday of the week but that’s just me

Maybe we should just get back on topic eh? If its that important start a thread ;)

Sorry admin before you cann this, I do have something half sensible to say–FOR CHRIST SAKE, BEFORE THESE FANDANGLED INVENTIONS WE DID PRETTY GOOD—KEEP THE FRONT WHEEL OFF THE GROUND AND THERE IS NO ISSUE. OOps I didn’t mean to yell, hope the missus didn;t freak

You know what Murph I said the same thing, “I have been riding and racing for 28 years without a damper, why would I need one now”

All I can say is Murph you have never ridden or owned a bike with a damper based on that rant. I will never own a bike any brand any model without one

I have run a WER a MSC (current) and a ROC as fitted to the DR project bike and some limited experience with the Scott Ohlins.

And as far as dampers go I feel an under bar mount is the go as I have one on my bike and think its the go for standing up more

I would trade and am going to trade my MSC for a Scott Ohlins as I like the adjustment set up on the Scotts

Sounds like a fun race Mal  but I own a Honda I have no experience as such an event :P

I am not fishing either Dan but its the whole light weight thing I think.

Hey when you stuck to Champo on the thumper track you had your big tank on your heavy 4 stroke and you had what 15 litres on board

And the fastest bike around the grass track was the heaviest bike at Louee

But I understand how light weight can be a benefit hey Mal, when you have to push it home

Sorry mal it just came out, couldnt stop it

Each to his own I say

Now where are the pictures of this said smoker?
