It was then decided that it maybe getting cold, so having a book learned combustion engineer within the group he (the previous mentioned engineer) would light the fire, that continued for some time
Finally before we all froze I think it was Bull took over and lit it for our engineer and we had a fire

Once back at the quarters people showered and got a drink and the pit racing started. I had picked up Moto’s new Scott Ohlin Damper for him during the week and gave it to him
It was then suggested to him to give it a kiss, you know like Rex Hunt does with the fish, now if I was Moto I would have questioned why do these guys want me to kiss my steering damper ?? But no he just kissed it and let me take a picture of it
He was then told how the previous night in his drunken stand Menace had dropped his pants and rubbed the damper all over his ball sack, so Menace holds claim to Moto kissing his balls ( yes it was going to be a hell of a long nite)
Dan had made mention during the week that he was making something to hand out during the week that I had then tried various means to find out what it was but had no success. Dan then took the floor and had a bit of a speech and handed out the 2009 OBT spirit award. Dan had taken this all upon himself to not only create the award but make the trophy / clock
It’s a very nice clock / trophy and award that I was very honoured to receive.
I handed some prizes out via raffle and then people settled into drinking and eating, the following will be random pics from Friday night

Part One
The weekend started at home with Menace and Sammy turning up, Menace is such a suck, not only did he turn up with flowers but also did the washing up
We got up early the next morning and left for the drive to Louee but not before a hung over Menace got the remaining noodles from Salina for his lunch. Once we arrived at Louee we paid and went back up to the Shearers Quarters and waited for the punters to arrive. Boony fronted soon, now this was a special moment we all know that Boony has an unhealthy obsession with Menace so a photo was in order when they first meet
See Sammy looking at Boony going OMG what is your obsession with my husbandOthers continued to front and soon we all made our way over the ride park, geared up and went riding. We all soon ended up at the thumper track it was here that a few of the boys started getting into, I was interested watching Dan chase campo for a few laps, Dan had his big tank on and he said it had 16 litres of fuel in it and given champos experience it was interesting to watch you could see both riders trying hard, Dan had got to the point that he stuck it up the inside of Champo on a couple of corners before Champo pulled off. Rat was doing laps and everyone was having a great time. Some of the boys getting some serious enduro rider air on the up hill jump near the tree.
A few of us went out the back and did a series of loops, Dan spotted 5 cents on the ground and went in for a close look. Beagle soon followed Dan example, we waited at the top of the ridge but didn’t have to worry as Kylie was on sweep, got beagle up and going and made sure he made it to where we sat waiting. From there we followed the loop which turned out to be one I hadn’t ridden in the many times I have been to Louee. The next hill was a ripper and it sorted the group out, we lost Beagle early and I think Kylie escorted him back to be sure he got back safe he had dropped it and broken his bark buster and was seen mumbling.
Kram had a moment at the top of the 2nd hill but it was all good
We then headed back, locked the bikes up and headed back to the Shearers Quarters
