Sad thing Moto the Mayor thing is a piss pull, because in his drunken stupor up there one night he proudly showed me this bag of garlic he had been given, truth me known I would rather have eaten the whole bag raw then listen to he go on and on about the advantages of living in a small town where you know everybody and everybody knows you :dry: its because they are inner breeds (thats only Mick everybody else up there are lovely people and normal)

Important Details

Please be aware there is NO SHOPS in LUE and I have been told that the pub doesn’t do meals either. Anything you want you have to take with you. You can get burgers etc at the track canteen but that’s it.

Also thanks to Boony’s thinking we have found that there is no ICE available at Lue. Rlystone and Mudgee are the closest places for Ice, so I would recommend that you fill up you eskies there or invest in fresh ice there maybe.

Some important Shearers Quarters details

Contains 20 separate rooms, 2 single beds in each room. Some with bunks.

To share; 4 bathrooms, kitchen with microwave, fridges, stove, urn, toaster, cutlery and utensils, Courtyard with Gas BBQ, Large dining room, Log fires.

BYO linen, pillows, blankets and towels.

THERE IS NO FUEL AVAILABLE AT EITHER LUE OR LOUEE RIDE PARK

If there are any questions post them up for all to see it may answer someone’s else’s question and save some grief

The riding events may include

Consistency trial – two timed loops of the same track with the winner being the one with the closest times on both laps not the fastest. There will be a mystery prize during this event.

Poker Run – 5 laps of a track, each time getting issued a card. Best hand of poker wins. No skill or speed involved in the winners.

The riding events will be on Saturday afternoon at a time to be announced Friday evening and the lucky door prizes will be handed out on Saturday night from 7pm at the Shearers Quarters.

Chris’s and my decisions will be final and no correspondence regarding the riding events or prizes will be entered into.
