You did well getting the footpegs on. I tried to swap the 200’s small footpegs over to the old ones from ’08’ and it was a complete biartch to do. I had spent the day working on the bike and was over it at this point so just left it there without the spring

Well I for one am glad you have started working on your bike, so does that mean I wont have to fix your bike the night before we go on a ride, like fitting chain and sprockets or wheels brgs tyres etc

You blokes (& ladies) are hard to please. $150 for a 1 day ride is not much. You have a chance to win a new bike, provided with entertainment and a feed. I was in that shit-hole you call Sydney a few weeks ago and paid more than twice that for a 2 hour walk on the Harbour Bridge, so please don’t bore us with “too much money”. You seem quite happy to turn up and sponge off the event without paying to ride, why don’t you come back another weekend ??? Would be a pity for the sweeps to find you busted on the side of the track and completly ignore you because you are not a part of the event. The reason the early bird entries closed so soon was an attempt to get people off their fat arses and enter earlier so that entries can be processed and the organisers have a little bit less to do on the weekend of the event. So “no”, the entries are not slow, about 500 this far out is normal.

Say what you really mean huzza147 dont hold back eh
You do make a good point regarding the organisers time on the day etc, part it reads a little hard I think

What part of the organising the event are you part of mate?

Hey if you dislike Sydney so much why did you pay so much to walk on the bridge and get a better view of it

Sorry ECKS but if that first video (was the only one I watched) is flogging a work vehicle dont lend chicken or I a work vehicle mate. I have towed a trailer through the bridle trail with a falcon mate, and mine site work vehicles and then there is rented cars that’s even worse

Ask Chicken about pick a gear with work vehicles

Hope it all works out Ollie you are gamer then me, I have been caught to many times before and find it costs more in the long run I buy quality once now. I have had those cheaper generators let me down when they have been needed so I have now spent the extra and got a Honda powered one with two year warranty

Keep us in the loop ;)

Those trip meters when you wind them back to reset them will do that. You could have 999km’s showing before it resets to zero.

    Mickp

You are right all the XR speedos do that Mickp, I was surprised that Mick D posted that about the milage in his post, I guess he is still new to XR’s
