Divide your wattage by your volatge do get your amperage. Therfore for a 12v circuit using a 55w bulb the current draw will be 4.58A whereas a 100W bulb would draw 8.33A.

I’d be surprised if the cable used in the bike isn’t good for at least 10A

What is the amp rating for 4mm wiring? I thought the wiring for a DR would only be around 2mm thats my worry and tha ability of the stator to provide the power to run the 100 watt as well. Most dirt bikes have to have the stators upgraded to run more then 55 watt headlights
