Blue you seemed troubled today, the two stroke / four stroke thing has pushed your buttons hasn’t it
Yes the bike was trick and two days after he left BMW he was talking with Kawasaki and Honda I read on the net. You can have the bike he had with whatever spec suspension dialed in however you want if you have the coin and contacts
I agree with your comments and opinion but again you seem trouble ol mate

Kylie I reckon they have been talking about a race track etc in that area around Warnervale for at least 15 years. Residents have bitched there before, but maybe now somethings happening, believe half of what you see and none of what you hear

You may well be right W B I cant understand what happened at BMW I would have thought he would have been competitive with a wheel barrow

Quote:I read something last night in a well known australiasian dirt bike magazine that has to be one of the worst pieces I’ve ever read ever in any magazine, the 2 stroke versus 4 stroke comparison.
It is so full of misinformation on both camps it defies logic that anyone with any knowledge proof read it before going to print. They pitted a 125cc MXer against a 250 4T, and boldly stated this was a fair comparison, even the AMA with the might of the japanese against them have stated this is not a fair comparison of capacity.Apparently the bottom end of a 2T needs replacing at 30-50 hours, and the price of 2t premix will outweigh the oil costs for a Hi-Po screamer 4T, it was an absolute farce.
I smelt the weight of the japanese 4T advertisers behind the whole article.

It will be after nundle mate and the rest goes without saying

Will do Hatto, these are the IRC’s that Sutto’s have on special in the sponsor deal forum for those interested

Hey Dan, Mal will take some of us out to the A track area is 300km loop there as well as tracks to the big river where we had lunch on Kylie’s ride

Just an update on the ED78, its now done a Sugerloaf, a Hampton ride, Caves to Caves, Wauchope tour, biggest weekend and some smaller rides and here is the result

About 1400kms, I tried to destroy it on the Yengo run as Dan mentioned in his ride report and its looking the goods, no punctures no dramas, is running 10 psi with a Michelin ultra heavy duty tube. The grip level is not a S12 but its fair and always predictable.
I will refit it later for other rides
If you are interested in a ED78 ring Mal at Sutto’s, its not a cheap tyre but I think its worth what I paid for it, it has some life left in it yet so we will see later

Thought TB may have picked up on the fact it was a scene from the Simpsons.Anyhow back on topic… It surprised me that Knight rode a privately owned KLX though. I thought factories would have been lined up at his door the day the news of his exit from BMW broke.
No no I got it Mick with my smiley it went to shat quickly but whatever Trevor
He has signed with Kawasaki since if you go the knighter.com or knighter.net, the link is on the first post
PS if a thread doesnt get jacked here at least once it only has one post
PPS It is also a simpsons thing champo good spot Mick
TB
Mick wasnt thinking that anyone was pushed he just told me on the phone that he finds he lifts on rides like when him and I peddled back from the falls on his birthday Friday ride, that was great Mick we flew
I am happy that you feel more confident on the bike Dan, but anybody can organise these rides (I will help if they want help) its very easy and its a Honda of course it looks easy
