Yeh! good one Scotty, the new carb sounds good, recon I’l order one tomorrow:cheer: Glad that you like the bike,I’v never had a problem with the power delivery and always thought that the tourqe was ok, n that it went well for a 250,but, my last bike was a YZ400 witch had loads of tourqe, n keeping it in the rev range,,,big blast,,but that was a wile ago now. Smokers can do both no worries, always could.
    Cheers teza.

Also interested in the Airstriker carb for my RMX,My main problem with the old one is that, after you give it a bit of a stab, then try to back off, it dosn’t want to idle down right away, the engin wants to run on.This tendencey bought me to greaf this year, with a bad result. Now I just dab in a bit more rear break to slow it down, but not enough to stall it,this is a drag, cose yu shouldn’t have to fight it.
I’m told that the reason for this is that the choke and the idle jet are in the same port. Question, dose the 38 mm Airstriker have a seperate idle scew??? Looking at pics of it ,it looks the same as the stock carb.
For $360. I’d be looking for a good result.
    Thanks Teza.
