I’m thinking Boony must be 40 but no way is that old.

When I’m 38 I’ll have a 16 year old and I don’t plan on being thought of as old. Uh uh.

NO but! with a 16 yo you will feel old through stress.

and the fact that the said 16yo will remind you you are old.

most likely by SMS, oh hang on it will be twitter. or what ever fangdangle new thingymabob it will be superseded with in 6-7 years time!

oh dear showing my age already?

    640’s have 10 000 km service intervals!

No everyone has one, and no-one wants to ride THAT!

I should hope 640s have high service intervals they are afterall an Adventure cycle.

and i guess not everyone wants to ride “IT” for free, but thinking of Chris’ thread ‘on a serious note’ , the government wants to ride ‘everyone’s’ for free!:P <

Bet that SUCKS! ey, get it?:P    :silly:

they do make a bearing packer, basically 2 sort of funnel shaped plastic cups, the bottom one has a threaded tube out of it with a grease nipple on it, the other cup has a nut in the middle,

you put the bearing onto the thread down to the bottom, screw the top cup on and pump grease into it. i have one BUT not used it yet, so i don’t know how good it works at doing the job properly.

to date i’v done it “Old school, hard core”.

if you don’t like greasy hands wear a pair of rubber gloves.

basically any Aust. standard fluid will do the job. most brand name stuff are much of a muchness.

others with more experience from a performance side of things may set me strait.

as for bleeding an el-cheapo from super cheap will do just fine.

if all else fails, a jam jar and a length of plastic tube that fits over the bleeder nipple dose just the same job.

Katie wore footy boots for the first 11000kms of her sporting life.

the shop that i had the 300 dramas with in their “wisdom” fitted the slicks for a “potential ” buyer.

i thought i may as well ware them out before fitting more suited tyres.

Thanks Menace for clearing that up ;)
