Ya Can’t Burn their bikes. .. what did the poor bike do??
i reckon let all the Legit riders take off them what they want.. and fine the owner for littering and the cleanup of what is left :silly:
some Police here have double standards though. (sorry Scotty:blush: but true, and not saying that all members of the force are that way) there is a disused gravel pit on crown land, that now has an impromptu track in it. at times the Police go out there to crack down on unreg/licensed riders. fines etc.
but one officer i was talking to a while back said it’s where they take their unlicensed mates to ride…..
there was a notice in the local rag a couple of years ago, that was to the same affect that in the state forest/parks that if you were found to be riding anywhere but on the formed tracks you would be fined…
does that include crown land?
as there are some parcels of crown land around here that i’ve thought of seeing if i can form some sort of single track through and sort of linking them together… into some sort of loop if posable..
:woohoo:
so you’ll have the WR and enough cash now to come on the ride i a couple of weeks time :cheer:
yeh Bundy,
i reckon it would go down/ the air in the tyre would contract over time as it cools.
but as TB said, they have only got the tyre to bead properly/ bead to seal on the rim enough to then be inflated.
you’ll find they most likely used an air compressor to inflate it to the correct pressure.
as with a large tyre like that, you would be hard pressed to get the tyre bead to seal enough to inflate it with the travel compressor they would have taken with them.
brake cleaner would work well… aerosol can degreaser too…..
you would have to light the fluid/ mist in the tyre pretty soon after you spray it into the tyre, otherwise it wouldn’t have quite the same expansion / explosion as if you let it evaporate too much.
hairspray would work ok i guess, that’s what they used to use in the spud guns.

That’s ok for fitting them Kat but not for getting the old ones off.
curling iron?? put the thin bit between the bar and grip. apply a light amount of pressure on the grip with the hot bit, and rotate around the bar, simply roll off the old grip once all the glue has been warmed and loosened.. all done
you can pm me the long legged las’ ph number in thanks/appreciation Kat….
  :side: :silly:

sorry eags but looks like you’re riding solo….
when i first saw the title Cowpatt Corner…….. i opened the thread thinking it was a place that had an odd nick name,
that a ride was going to be held at or a destination to ride to like ‘the Berry Patch’. ‘wattos’. etc.
how WRONG was i….. :silly:
anyone near Mud ‘n’ Tar take size 11 1/2 – 12???? in a wide foot?
apparently i’m an 11 1/2 in an EE or EEE width, but some shoes to get them to fit for width i have to get a 12-12.5.
why do i ask such an odd Q?…. i wouldn’t mind a pair. but as it’s a bit far for me to just pop in and try on a pair
and with no phone/net orders…….. you’ll catch my drift..
you must be a more in touch rider than i Pete.
i went from std. tubes to UHD on the 640 and didn’t notice any difference. but i run my tyres art around 18psi..
yeah i know, not what everyone would choose to ride on. but 18psi and UHD means i ride confident that for my style i will be less likely to get a flat, and it’s where i feel most comfortable at. i tried 10-12 and didn’t feel right to me plus i got flats too easily..
next ride i do i’ll see how pressure affects feel. i’ll start off at 18psi and drop it to maybe 15 then 12 and maybe 10 depending on how the lower pressures go.
looks like Bender’s Yellow cousin
you forgot to mention tuned suspension Aido.
if you’re selling both dirt warriors, what’s next??
