WOW what a great weekend that was, riding the narny in some of the bestest bike riding terrain known to man (yep better than nundle)and to top it off I was riding with some good mates and even the mayor of wauchope came along to see if we where behaving when he heard we would be on his turf :)
brief report now and then I`ll try and top micks report later (wont happen). :(

we travelled a total of 402ks just to ride our bikes and camp out under the stars, we rode our bikes for a total of 221ks whilst we were there, these Ks were clocked up on some rather sweet, prestine and down right slippery trails, riding some of the trails was like a dog trying to run on greasy lino.but hey that just adds to the fun.
I even got to show micknmeld some singles and had a bit of a play as well when he showed me the pigs wheel on a few corners, something about getting mud in his eyes, he can peddle for a young fella  .

Mick got to see our infamous cappuccino loop ( every ride should have one).

apparently tamworth got flogged by rain and everyone thought we got drenched as well however when Mick left camp on saturday morning the rain went with him.

No injuries except for a blood blister I got setting up camp,,shirt it hurt.
Broke the narny on a tree going for coffee, and thats about it.

    more later

Dirt bikes as we know them will go the way of the horse. When was the last time you saw a horse being ridden down Bondi Rd for a quick run up and down Tamarama? 1942 I bet.

The destiny of our sport will be in dedicated ride zones or on the fringes of civilisation.

I am very glad that I live on the fringe.

    off road rego!!

have a bike rego system for riding in the “areas of concern” that way a percentage of the revenue raised can go towards regeneration and track maintenance. Yep a bit like the vics have,,cunnin people them vic,,6 fingers but cunnin people.

We are now being confronted with closed trails up here because the local council say bikes and 4x4s are trashing their tracks and it cost big dollars to have then continually fixed,,i have played in this area for a hell of a long time and the trails do not recieve alot of repairs,I for one would be willing to pay a off road levy to ride in these areas,if it meant we could keep using the trails.

we can not always blame unregoed bikes as I have watched responsible/regoed rides tear the living daylights out of a piece of trail just so they can say they got up there when there was a easy alternte route to the exact same spot.

Thats my 15cents worth,,dont really care if anyone agrees or disagrees its just my thoughts.

    The Young Mexican Maid

A young Mexican maid asked for a pay increase.
The wife among the couple she worked for was very upset about this and
decided to talk to her about the raise. She asked: ‘Now Maria, why do you
    want a pay increase?’

Maria: ‘Well, Senora, there are three reasons why I want an increase.
The first is that I iron better than you.’

Wife: ‘Who said you iron better than me?’

    Maria: ‘Your husband said so.’

    Wife: ‘Oh.’

Maria: ‘The second reason is that I am a better cook than you.’

Wife: ‘Nonsense, who said you were a better cook than me?’

    Maria: ‘Your husband did.’

    Wife: ‘Oh.’

Maria: ‘My third reason is that I am a better lover than you.’

Wife: (really furious now) ‘Did my husband say that as well?’

    Maria: ‘No Senora…the gardener did.’

Wife: ‘So how much do you want?’

    :lau   gh:
