You got a nice baked dinner for your trouble;)free rum too and a nice cup of tea with milk and 2 sugars, and last night I noticed the discs on your bike were getting a bit rusty so I put a heap of Lanox on them for you.

Good pick up for free!!!! Life is good when you are sponsored by MOTO RACING.:woohoo:
Spose I owe you a few bucks for it mate.Let me know how much and how by PM and I will sort it out with you.

It certainly puts the pressure on you when you are leading guys you haven’t ridden with,ay Murph? You are constantly thinking “am I going too fast, am I going to slow for these guys,do I look like a spastic?” Sweeping is much easier I think!!

What a great day of racing!!! It seems a few of us are proud of our son’s achievements yesterday.
I was very happy with the way Connor raced as well. Moose and I got lumbered with scoring at the finish line all day, which meant that our boys had to fend for themselves in the pits and get their bikes to the start of each race on their own, a good effort for 12 year olds.
Going into the 4th round Connor was in 6th place and the kid ahead of him on a CRF150R was 12 seconds ahead of him.I let Connor know this and said his main aim was to try and pick up those 12 seconds. When the two boys came back in, Connor was hot on his arse, which meant he had picked up 20 seconds on the kid ahead of him on that lap. A great ride for him which in turn put him 8 seconds ahead of the CRF150R.
There was no podium finish for Connor though, leading into the last round he was running 5th in his class (small wheel 85’s), he ended up crashing and his bike wouldn’t start straight away as it was flooded and he dropped a minute there,he then tried his hardest to make up lost time and hit a tree causing him to come off again,he sucked it up and finished the race but he didn’t look to happy at all after the race, untill I told him the kid behind him had issues in the bush as well and he didn’t loose his place in the field. So he was happy to settle for 5th place, his best result in the sprints so far.
The practice the boys got at Bills property on his sprint track last weekend most definately helped with their skill levels but most importantly their confidence was way up there and that’ll make a huge difference to how you race..A great day was had by all I think. Moose’s eldest boy George, came 5th in his class as well, a great effort considering he was riding a small wheel 85, in a class that had big wheel bikes competing.
Yeah Dave Congratulations to your boys, they rode really well, especially Lachlan, he was peddling the little 65 well,he was lapping quicker than a lot of the 85’s!!
I had a ball on the beach the other day with Moose and TB. I couldn’t get it out of my head about what sort of damage I was doing to chain and sprockets though.
I suppose that goes with the territory though. FUN COSTS!!! -
