Thanks STM. I will get onto you if need be. After a few beers last night with a mad Harley mate of mine we had Connor’s Chopper pushie measured up and we will see if the motor will bolt into it. That would look and be cool.
The look of excitement on Connors face when he saw the pushie with an engine was worth every cent I paid for it.

To be honest, I put probably 50 hours on a 08 KTM530 and I thought the rear suspension was pretty good (read, I ride a XR600) but I did notice the front end left something to be desired.

Thanks for the advice and the concern, it has made an interesting debate. Also food for thought, actually it came from and “almost” deceased estate. It is more of a talking point for the shed than an actual form of transport,so I cant see it getting much road work.Maybe the occasional trip to Moose’s or Trippers,place for a laugh.

Yep they are legal in NSW but not in QLD.amazing!!

The following vehicles (irrespective of the power output of the motor) are banned from use on roads or in public areas.

Motorised foot scooters (with or without a seat) – electric/petrol engine
Mini-bikes
Motorised human transporters such as the WheelMan, or SEGWAY
Motorised skateboards – electric/petrol engine
Exemptions

Motor assisted pedal cycles with electric or petrol engines are exempt from registration, provided the maximum engine output power does not exceed 200 watts. Riders must follow the same road rules as for pedal cycles without motors, including wearing a helmet.

I only bought it for the fun factor and it is something Connor can fool around with.There are blokes cutting around town on them all over the place and they ride straight past the cop shop all the time. So they must be legal.
