The tyre works great where it is supposed to be used, its a soft compound Michelin, used at Wauchope on a full days ride had no wear. Used on dry hard pack rock based high speed ride with the throttle wound on and kept on it was always going to die, here’s a quote from the story it came from

When I was there he had parts send to him from the states to be repaired and then be sent back to the states! He is close but I would send my stuff to him even if he wasnt.
Glad I could help

thanx for the welcome TB, as for the ktm making it I’m sure it would, the real issue is would I, ktm seat and all.
fuel range maybe an issue, still running the standard tank, but I’m on the look out for a after tank.[/quote]You would need to be able to get around 140 / 150 kms out of a tank or carry fuel to get that, at least 4 of us will have big tanks so no one will get stuck

Mick was going to Moose’s place this arvo so there goes our ride report and pictures, he will be talking side ways be the time he gets home

I would have love to gone guys, but notice was short for me and the minster isnt well, and even though she wouldnt say boo if I went I better not besides the rear tyre on my bike would need at least turning before I ride again lol   and I am getting the NX ready for easter, have fun guys and ride safe

TB
Tomorrow I am going to wash it and make it sparkle

So today Champo I went to stage 2 with the pannier side braces and put an extra piece in as per the picture

It now keeps the pannier at a constant distance from the exhausts

I then fitted a new set of handle bars, they are of a blokes new WR250x left here when I fitted fat bars and bark busters etc to his bike

I had a leaking fork seal so I fitted one of the fork legs I got from the spare NX rolling chassis I got

And fitted a near new slightly more off road aggressive Bridgestone tyre (thanks Chris, yes he is still alive)

Bring on the 4 day Easter NX tour

You would just have to find the track and follow or hope the arrows are still up. Only those that set it out or raced it would know it, you know that.
Word of warning over the years after any event in the watagans riders flock to the tracks used, be careful of guys like yourself wanting to ride the tracks

Oh well there you go, I learnt something new, cheers Scotty. Bet Moto would have known that sorry mate
Try western QBE
TB
I dont think it has anything to do with the age of the bike?? I think it goes more on engine cc and where you live, I am pretty sure, but could be wrong
