You blokes were riding past heaps of good single tracks, pity it was 500 degrees and we couldn’t go too hard or we would over heat. Must have been hot out at Woodstock.

As boring as sitting around the tent on the river with no water not riding going its too hot

Yeah it was wicked hot Matt, great seeing you out there, funny stuff ;)

    Could be head gasket also.

Good point if it hydraulic locked, cylinder pressures go up and pop. Normally there is a mechanical failure like a rod bending etc

    Worth a look

Missed this sorry, sounds like a water pump to me :S Maybe Nick from Tekniks will chime in with his thoughts.
Pump housing? Electrolysis in the housing or the case where it transfers?

    I have three people confirmed.

I note the pubs are booked out so the swag might have to do.

Is that three including you? Or you make 4?

Either way thats awesome, what about you get them signed up here and do an intro. They will get a warm welcome like yours, everyone knows who they are riding with and I can give confirmed numbers to the publican at Woodstock (even if they are camping its important for catering, a band etc) I also do route packs and last time gave away water proof route note holders / map holders for future use ;)
Also numbers will help me sign a ride sponsor and get us some give aways, come on its free, easy and all I ask really

Yeah, His dad was to help out with most of the funding to get them over there, but I think the meeting with the ORLEN Team in Abu Dabhi is what ended up supplying the bike and full support :)

Being part of the Orlen team will in itself give invaluable information and experience no doubt, they have some very experienced guys on that team as well and are hoping for a good result…
All Troy has to do is ride to his ability for the 2 weeks, and that is a large enough task alone

I heard today that his dad Terry gets to fly over tomorrow for the rest of the rally and cheer him home , awsome :woohoo:

Yeah but it’s a paid ride like you or I buying a GHR ride I believe isn’t it  that paved the way for the political help to get his entry accepted

Ebay Scott I bought two batteries, 12v and 240 volt charger for $65 plus freight last night. Also Sutto’s will have batteries in very soon according to Scott when I spoke with him on Friday.
I have a screen back for my Hero had it for a while now, never use it. It fits the 3 as well, I dont use it because of the weight and the risk of it getting damaged. The heavier it all gets the more chance there is of it breaking a mount and getting lost IMO. If you are using it for stills or camera stuff it would be ok. The 3 has such a wide spread it would be hard to miss aim it on your helmet.

There is some gear out there for them

Also I filmed in Pro at 1440 / 60fps on the weekend and while the footage is of the charts on a HD TV it doesnt work well on computers and Imovie. Is a real problem and not worth it when it ends up back at 1080 or 720 on YouTube anyway. I good experiment and always learning. Some of the footage I have on the Nav ride promo video when I am on the Tiger.

We need to do a wrokshop day I reckon ;)
