More later
I have a manual and can look the specs up if you want? I also have a factory preload tool if you wish to borrow it I could send it down. If the bearings are installed incorrectly it will lock the swing arm up. The preload has to be spot on because the correct tension sets it all, locitie nut. If the nut isn’t tight enough it comes loose and you chase a handling problem eh Mick  Let me know if you need the tool. I will find the link to the manual if you want

Very sad for all involved RIP

Yeah Lefty is on the money, master cylinder is my bet not letting the fluid return into the reservoir thus holding pressure in the line and slave cylinder. ( Have had it before with a front brake once, small piece of crap stopping the piston going all the way back ) The pressure in the line then is the same as holding the clutch lever in. When you cracked the bleed nipple you released the pressure. Would put money on it being a hydraulic problem more so than mechanical. They only have an O ring in the slave cylinder don’t they?
(have been wrong before but  )
TB
That what I would do Roy  You can also bleed it the normal way but it will take heaps longer.

Speak with Adventure Moto, either Janice or Steve. I reckon from my experience with my jacket and seeing peeps try them on at adventure moto a little bigger is better than snug.. I wear armour under mine sometimes so I went a size up, it still a real good thing even when I don’t wear the armor as the sleeves velco around your wrist etc If you ever wish to do the same get the XL. Actually just get the XL better when you wear a jumper etc I reckon and allows for future expansion

Happy Birthday Bill have a top day

Yes it’s Janice and she is worth her wait in gold
You are right regarding a customer relationship with Steve as some of the guys on the scrapheap will testify he will go the extra to help, support and make it happen. (Ask PTW) And quite a few peeps here have already established a shopaholic relationship with Adventure Moto much to their credit cards demiseIt will become a shop in the near future and a workshop down the back to have your purchases fitted while you wait

Been following Ben Grabhams progress since the accident and I found this today
Thanks to motoonline
Ben Grabham had been airlifted to hospital after a top gear crash during the Cond 750, at Conobolin, NSW.
Having placed second on Saturday?s leg of the race to local favourite and log-time Aus Safari rival Todd Smith, Grabbo was on the hunt for the win in Sunday?s leg of the race.
In one of the bigger stages of Sunday’s leg, Grabbo eventually passed Todd while he was refuelling at a splash and dash and charged on as the lead rider.
About 50km later, Todd glanced to see Grabbo’s bike in a heap off the side of the track while he was pinned in top gear himself. He turned back to look for Ben and found him laying motionless some 50-meters ahead of where his bike had stopped.
Todd slowly woke Ben and helped coax him back to conciousness. When Ben woke, he was able to stand up but had a broken shoulder, a bone poking through his forearm and severe back pain.
By this stage Ben’s brother Damian had come through the field and stayed to look after Ben, allowing Todd to continue on along with other competitors who were being waved by.With Ben stabilized and awaiting medical assistance, Damian walked back towards the start of where the crash occured and found a dead kangaroo only metres before the first marks the bike had left in the ground.
Given the section of track was smooth and extremely fast, Damian assessed that the Kangaroo jumped into the side of Ben’s KTM 500EXC and pitched it into an instant highside while he was doing approx 160-170kph.
It took some three hours before a 4WD ambulance could get to Ben and transfer him to a area clear enough for a flying doctor to airlift him to hospital. CT scans later revealed that Ben had also crushed three vertabrae in his spine and was immediately transfered to a spinal unit near Sydney.
I am sure anyone that has met Ben knows what a down to earth guy he is on and off the track. I an sure we all wish him a speedy and full recovery

Ripped the front end of it

Pass on my best wishes for a speedy recovery please Pezz
