OWL 02 wrote:At this point, I have read all the Blah Blah at the start of this thread and to be honest, I actually understood all of it. It was in very easy to read english and after running it through spell check, could not fault it.We just ran it through Mircosoft office spell check and it will do for here OK smarty
After doing some simple maths, it would appear that there is not enough beds on offer here. Even if Boulder and Fish sleep together, we are still one short.
On the case it will be fine BTW must have been simple maths if you did it
After speaking with his Lords Ship this morning it may well be that you are heading into an old stomping ground of mine as well. Charming little shit hole called Mintabi. Well it was when I left there close to 30 years ago.
Looking forward to it
Any way, I’ve crapped on long enough now so the only question that remains un answered is, am I going to be Krusty’s wing man ?
You havent stopped crapping on since I meet you

Deejay has the complete set as well and has worn his on two rides the latter last weekend. I was also on the ride and was amazed that when we stopped for lunch after riding in the rain for 7 hrs he was still dry  (BTW the rain was bloody heavy and all but rained the whole time) it hadn’t seemed to leak anywhere, I must admit I had expected some sort of leak through a zipper etc but no he was bone dry  Myself, I was pretty damp :pinch:
After seeing the jackets at Steve’s while ah, helping get a set organised for a friends surprise birthday present, and seeing Deejays in action and listening to Nick thoughts while he researched them I have also purchased a jacket. My Dry-rider has served me faithfully for 6 years but I have to admit I am looking forward to not having the stop and fit liners at every chance of rain. The Oodnadatta ride I think will be a good test. As I haven’t bought the pants Nick I think I will do your suggestion and just wear the liner in the dry rider pants all the time like as worked in the past for you
BTW Nick you seem to have lost weight in the picture
Steve did both Deejay, myself and I know Nicks wife the normal OBT deal which was fantasic.
Nickj wrote:During the conversation he mention they now come in black and asked if I wanted a complete black suit sent up !!! He said I’d have the first in Australia so I went for it
And just minutes before while I was giving him your number that resulted in the above phone call he sold me my Black jacket that must be the first black jacket sold here. It also resulted in the first hissy fit I believe by someone in Austarlia when you found out I had ordered the black jacket first
mickp wrote:Wayne and I spoke after we read your post and your earlier phone call. So we understand. Thats why he has posted for both of us.Bike maint. has been performed to Nazi standards and ready to go :cheer:

Done Mick  Sorry my mind reading powers are down at the minute, thus I didnt know you had spoke after we spoke and if I had explained everything etc  either way it’s all gravy

lotsa wrote:So why isn’t MickP and myself on the list??? Please add. From the towns mentioned, if we went north enough and the tracks were open we could cut east through the elusive Cameron Corner on the way south to Silverton.
Mate will add you straight away, just need everybody that’s going to read and understand so they don’t say “I didn’t know that  ” will add Mick Krusty and Gaz as soon as they are clear and they know what’s going on ok?
I also tried ringing you last night multiple times

As for Camerons we aren’t going that way on this trip. I know you should never say never but we AREN’T going that way this time mate  BTW as posted in the Camerons thread the Simpson is shut again anyway

TB
