You know what Mick you are right  I hadnt read the whole thing and now you mentioned it I have. The ramp our sponsors sell would be far better quailty then the Aldi one of course I have a whipps one and it is so strong. I see your point regarding the ramp. The cheap clothing well its just that

Good point Mick and again because you will love it I will say, you are right ;)

I have purchased 15 / 42 Chain Gang for my trip to the corner on the DRZ. Actually, I’ve bought lots of new stuff for the bike in readiness for this trip.

Just waiting for my mechanic to fit all these bits.

Spot on Krusty !! One thing instead of sending you money to the sheep shaggers at Torpedo 7 ask your local Aussie shop if they will price match

Ummmmmmm…. maybe before you spend your money with the Sausage munching Krauts at Aldi, consider buying of our sponsors. ;)

Our sponsors dont sell shit there are some people out there happy with Aldi shit and maybe fool themselves into thinking they are saving money in the long run. IMO ;)

I considered when posting the above but thought they are wide and seperate markets that only tight arse, cheap stake with no idea could link as being the same, which happened it seems   :P

We do not have interchangeable goggles at this time. However, if replacement parts are needed then we can provide them. Send any other questions my way and I’ll be glad to help!

I see there was a few (read way to many) had injector failures how to your prepare against that ?

If I was to replace my Tenere now how could I go past a DR650? For 15k you could have the best over yes over setup adventure bike that could do all the hard core shit. Look at Pilth’s bike

RIP the 690’s Beags  :P

Yeah Krusty this is around what I was thinking for gearing. I’m currently running 14/44 and was going to go up to a 15 front. This will still give plenty for hills. One thing I did do yesterday was avoid using first gear, I went up all the hills in second and it did it easy so pulling the taller gearing shouldn’t effect the bike down low too much but will help out at speed.

The project bike is at my place and I double checked on the weekend, it is running 14/41 in the bush. I used it at Orange in 2008 for a few days while chasing the A4DE in the tight singles and it was great the DR motor is so strong down low and in the mid range. Go 15/42 for adventure riding mate. Trust me, if it doesnt work I will pay for the sprockets ;)

Not sure why you brought forth the overseas shopping issue either as it is irrelevant..

Its a massive issue and I think you raised it mate with your overseas price quote    :pinch:

For the sake of a good product review I think the person that bought the googles is happy with the price he paid as he didnt shop anywhere else or ask where he could buy one cheaper.

So how good is that footage :)

Looks like a double edge sword to me …………..did none of u see the formed roads comment

My thoughts exactly Bob. We may have rego but it’s a bit hypocritical getting on our high horse about it when you are breaking the law as soon as you touch some single trail. I’m also guessing that means that if you injure yourself (or worse somebody else) when not on a formed then your CTP and comprehensive insurance is null and void. Hadn’t thought of that before either.

I think as long as you arent bashing through virgin bush its a formed track, yeah I know its not exact but what can we do

Yep get em up to clarence and get rid of all the knobs *****HOWEVER***** I would like a place like clarence where a father could take his kids on their mini bikes to have some fun in the bush, I guess we have to wait for rec rego to hit nsw which i’ve heard is still 12-18months away.

    Chris.

I would like that as well Chris, although rec rego wont make my son 17 and give him a licence will it

About 40 motorcycle riders were spoken to by police and their bikes examined for compliance.

I wonder how stringent the compliance inspections were??

Blinkers, chain guards, mirrors?? :S

The thread on DBW about this says the police were just happy that they could prove rego and license. Most of the time they understand what trail riding is.

    Good on them I reckon.

I would like to see a blitz like that at Clarence and fine most of the knobs.

Thats the way it has been anytime I have been checked Mal, I would like to see a blitz most places ;) fine, them beat them, burn their bikes  ok maybe not burn their bikes but something need to be done, something fair dinkum
