Its a great thing, love it can do anything with it. Its ready enough to ride, doesnt need extra tanks fitted and is designed with its job in mind.

They are a pretty ready made adventure bike the Z more so than a DR or a 690 I reckon they can carry luggage etc ready and have a good fuel range

What time at Freemans Eags? I will meet you guys there
TB
Actually Eags I was thinking about this yesterday and thought as we are coming back in from the west to finish you could ride a distance in with us. Will chat next weekend. A thought though is that cause we have added a day getting everyone to the corner we may not get to St Alburns until Sunday which is why I have told everyone going to allow the Monday to travel home.

464kms, rode the Bridle trail, had a counter lunch had Hillend with Gaz and Krusty. Rode Turon River, scouted out a track I used to use years ago. Pre ran some of the track we will use coming home from the Corner. Found a new section that is better than 10 steps, I call it the wall :woohoo: Got bogged for a while had to take the bags of to get the Tenere out  Rode the Garden of Stone, some new railway service track that goes up and down like nothing else. Hit a goat (sorry Boony  ) listened to the ipod all day, told some unregos I saw that I had seen the cops on DRs cruising the area

Took the camera but was having way to much fun to stop and take pictures
Came home played nurf wars with Kids (I have new sniper nurf gun)
Perfect day

TB
You need to heat the swingarm getting the alloy to expand (grow) and keep the stud cool (srink like your dick on a cold morning) when using the welded nut theory. Dont worry to much about damaging the thread in the swing arm a heli-coil will fix that and stop it ever happening again.
Having seen this I am removing both of my soon and drilling the threads out and fitting heli-coils as they are stronger than a thread straight into alloy and then my bolt will be a metal bolt in a metal thread no more dramas

If your discs are a little worn the sintered will take a while (not long just be aware) to bed into the shape of the discs
will be all good thenTB
