I’m going to just duck out the back gate and take the YZ for a ride in your honour 👿
Might even get a quad out there whilst I’m at it.

Make the most of it, because with that kind of attitude soon none of us will have a place to ride. I know your joking but there are people out there who do this who are F–king it up for everybody.
I dont hate motorcross bikes I hate the dickheads that ride noisy unregistered ones in forests and NPs and wherever they shouldnt. I also hate the sort of attitude they have to others and the sport like Captain was joking about above :silly:
But as the subject is bought up why dont they ride their motorcross bikes on motorcross tracks? I asked a guy once at the Watagans and he said it was a hassle. When I asked what happens if he has a head on as far as insurance goes and he said he was too good a rider to have a head on
You have land there Captain you could make a phat track I figure or would it piss your neighbours off??

If you looked you would see better heads is a trough   Could be said he has a good head for radio

Hi mate I don’t want you to panic but I’m texting you from the casualty. Â Turns out the new Dyson Ball cleaner isn’t what I thought it was.Cheers Nick it will save me time for sure. I am about to pull my Tenere down and go over it from end to end as it has now done 20k. While it’s stripped down it will get a good clean, I will run spare in place cables for clutch and throttle pull. I will check the valve clearances and fit all the new parts I have coming for Camerons which is only 20 weeks away
Thanks for taking the time to do the DIY thing up as I am sure it helps people. Anyone can post up how they do something as I am sure it helps others as this one will help me and it’s doesnt have to be a video as Nick has shown

It’s only my opinion but if it’s introduced it will be a day to remember, the start of the end of our sport
Only my opinionBTW how do they do if you haven’t ridden 46 days?
I couldn’t ride Clarence with it, or Capertee, couldn’t ride Orange, couldn’t ride the Watagans well couldn’t ride any of them legally with rec ergo as all have sections where you travel on some sort of a road all dirt but a road even if only for a km so how does it work, transport to the edge of the forest?
Could Boony ride to the berry patch I don’t think so It involves transporting doesn’t it?
We need cheaper green skips it’s proven we are get ripped off, why not do tha and full rego would be cheaper and we could legally ride all areas and can’t get booked transporting a dirt road between singles
No arguing not fighting just asking and giving an opinion
Anything cheaper as far as rego is good but we need to protect ourselves and our areas

April 19, 2011 at 2:05 am in reply to: 3rd Annual OBT Birthday Ride Weekend, 28th, 29th May 2011 #198394Bump here for the birthday ride. This ride is always a cracker Mal and Medogrocket are leading Saturday and once we get to the Sunny Corner I can promise you ripper weekend
The list of who is attending is in the first post on page one of this thread below is some from the first post on page one
The 3rd annual Old Bull Birthday Ride will be held on the 28th and 29th of May. As last year it will be a ride to the camp and ride return. There will only be one group ride lead this year (no adventure loop). If there are any adventure rides wanting to attend I can send you some tracks to get you there as you are more than welcome. The ride will start at Capertee in the public area opposite the servo at 7.30am on Sat the 28th of May. There will be support vehicles to carry your gear (gear means your 20litre Jerry can FULL, your bag, swag (or Tent) and an esky that you should try and share with someone else to conserve space) it will cost you $20 to have your gear transported and will be payable to Bubba the red neck support driver, no pay no gear carried. Your jerry can will need to be full as there are no service stations anywhere during the whole ride.
We will be camping near Sofala and there are NO SHOPS THERE bring everything you need. We will be travelling via twin trail (good tough in spots twin trail) for the first 30 odd kms then there will be singles used in the A4DE, they will include pine forests and native bush. There will be at least one hill climb to bash yourselves up on only if you choose. We are aiming to do some of the A4DE special tests and extreme tests that will start and finish at the same point so you don’t have to do it if you don’t want or you can do it twice if you want. The ride will be able to be completed by EVERYBODY but we are aiming to include tougher sections for others only IF THEY WANT to do them. There will be the ride thru the rocky twin along the Turon River then over the causeways and thru the farms to the camping area as we did last year.
As per every birthday ride there will be prizes a plenty I can assure you. At this stage I am hoping to have over 20 individual prizes not including the Old Bull Of The Year which was a Helmet last year. There will be commemorative stickers to all attend as per other years it is shaping to be the biggest bunch of prizes ever by a long shot. There is no cap on the numbers of riders and again everyone of every skill is welcome and will be accommodated.
Sutto’s main Old Bull contact Scotty will be attending and we are hoping to have more of our sponsors attending also, come on Steve (Adventure Moto), Nick and Mark from Tekinks to name but a few
The ride back will be aimed to have us back at Capertee between 2 and 3pm for those that have to travel distances. There is plenty of space to park the cars which is safe enough that I will park my car there for the night. Capertee is on the Mudgee road between Mudgee and Lithgow.
This post will be kept updated so look it over if you are going in the weeks ahead until the ride.
Come one come all it will be great I promise

With fairness to Wally whom is a hell of a nice guy Ryobi I know where he is coming from. People have been known wander in here gather up some routes and stuff people have got and disappear never to be seen again. It leaves a sour taste in your mouth, there are a lot of contributing members here that put the time in to learn and map the tracks and I am sure have them like me in a folder full of GPX files
I live in the mountains and know and ride the areas you are asking about real well. i I have researched the areas, pre ridden, explored, trail ridden and lead rides through there a fair few times now over the last 4 years. I am happy for you to join a ride when I lead the next out in those areas. I have recently just found while exploring a whole heap on new routes and tracks near Capertee when I spent a day out there riding around
Sorry mate Wally’s post may seem a little hard but you need to see both ways when a someones first post is like yours. These sites run because of contributing members and people share with one antother and help. You may have noticed no one answered your post but the other intro in the last 24 hrs has 7 or 8 replies
I am leading our Birthday ride out of Capertee for members
