Yeah Mr Blue I do. I saw him at Raymond Terrance and remember Hakan Carlqvist saw him at Raymond Terrance in the 80’s as well same meeting had Bettle Bailey, Stephen Gall, and some up and coming punk called Jeff Leisk I think was his name. They was everyone of the ear there, Dack was a junior I think. Will never forget that meeting its burned in my mind ah Mr Motocross

Have been thinking, seeing as we are mostly mature persons on this forum, many of us may remember heroes from the past and be wondering what happened to them.

So I figured if we list someone, even if we can’t remember their name, surely others here could shed some light on the whereabouts or ultimate fate of yesterdays heroes and noteables.

For me I can remember reading about one of our former enduro greats being killed in a car accident several years ago on his way back from Finke(?) but for the life of me can put a name to whom it was……..

    Anyone?

You are talking about the great Ian Cunningham he was killed on Easter Sunday in a Car accident when returning home from Condo 750 2006 he was asleep in the back and his wife was driving and got into an accident. We raced that event and went to the after race party when fueling up to head home the next morning we heard about it. Being there as the news broke I remember being pretty upset about it.

A true legend from all accounts

    R.I.P.
