How about august
HU,ummmmmmm..looky here a month,,now where did that little bugga come from
About Boony about its still about its worth nothing make a bloody date or at least a firm month fark you couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery
Listen take some tips
Check other groups etc that use the area see what they got on at least you may get a weekend thats not double booked and someone else is in the camp area you want to use
Have a back up site in case someone is there with a big group like Sofala weekend
Check the race calendars
Check with your missus
Check with the forestry in case they are doing something
And thats only a small list of things you will need to cover to get it started in a gathering thread
Its easy organising rides isnt it, get organised at least with a month firm and check all the bips and bobs

Happy to help if you want a tip or something if you want

Sutto’s tyre changing evening 17th of JuneSo the idea was thrown around after the Sofala Ride how do we help / teach people to change tyres. Chris Sutto who was on the ride suggested we hold a tyre changing evening at Sutto’s so here it is.
The evening will start at around 5.30pm at Sutto’s Massive Superstore located at 141 Blakie Rd Jamisontown. (Penrith)
What do you bring you ask?
– One or both of your wheels whatever you want
– Tyre levers
– Spanners for your rim locks.
There will be demonstrations on how to change tyres and tubes and coaching whilst everyone has a go using there own wheel. Coaches on the night will include Sutto, Daniel, Mal, Mal5.1 and anyone else bar me
Sutto’s will be offering on the evening Tyres, Tubes, Levers, Pumps and anything else tyre related at NEVER be repeated prices
After we are all tyre changing 6 day legends we will have some pizza and fizzy drink
Come along support this evening if its a success we maybe able to more of these sort of educational evenings

Which track at Hartley? They aint many of them there.
I dont know if I can answer you here Mal as Mick its seems is now too tight to start his own thread   Man thats tight to a new level

Mal you know when you run towards the darlington causeway and it changes to bitumen to run up the hill there is a track of to the left and it winds up between the valley on the left. We followed it for a while
TB
Yeah I know the track. Not sure where it goes now. Last time I went up there it was a dead end. It an old mine track. I’ll check it out next time I’m out that way.
No no no we will check it out I marked it as my turf (wee everywhere
) so I will have to come as well, then we can have a counter lunch somewhere :laugh:TB
