You could syringe the new oil in from a measuring jug through the bleed hole if you cant get the cap off

Well here we are at 5.30 Rocket, Donna, Mal and myself having breakfast, the wind is howling I mean really blowing, its cold and it flogged down rain last night. I am sitting here glad I am not riding its terrible weather, its making the the caves to caves ride seem like a summer spirit. Riding through the pine forests for the 2nd time after 500+ bikes have been through a trail will be a test, welcome to your first ever race Mal

And
Its only the engine cases Moto, also hubs and muffler with the above although you can apply to replace the muffler due to a noisy bike

Just sitting in the house here drinking my coffee watching the Geoff Ballards, Toby Prices etc walking past heading over the back to walk the special test here at Mal’s place. Its a tough walk over up and down some really steep grass hills, how steep well the organisers were to ferry people back and forth in 4×4’s but that was cancelled because of the rain and the terrain! The special test here is I reckon one of the most awesome tests I have ever seen, the whole thing can be viewed from one spot as its on the side of a steep hill shaped like a half bowl if that make sense. Sadly this test is closed to the public due to access problems as the people walking over there now are discovering. Access to the rear for the bikes is through a working logging area that will stop work for a couple of hrs the two days they come through.

Well we have just finished in the shed, I have gone through the bum bag and thrown some stuff out and we added some stuff. When packing you have to remember Mal only needs to carry enough stuff to get him to the next service point where we are and we can replace whatever he has used. Example we have about 6 gas bottles for pumping tyres but he need only carry 2 as we will replace them end of stage, there are 4 rear tubes but only carries one per stage
It is the bleakest arsehole of a day here, the mist / fog rain cold it wont be fun to ride if the weather remains like this but as Mal said its the same for everybody
We will go down to Parc Ferme shortly and check it out, we have to get some carpet for his work space under the OBT quick shade cause its quickly going to turn to mud and thats no good when changing tyres which will now be really important.
Then its of to drive around and find all the service points for Donna and I so we know where we have to be when Mal gets there.
Will keep updating from here on in
