Nice quote Moose and so true

Menace I think enough people saw it and have mentioned it? And of all the people there riding he got roosted by a self confessed hippie on a 15 year old XR, worthy of a cartoon I reckon

    “You edder widus or aginus!!!”

    Wash your mouth out TB!

Then again, with the wild cams in your modified monster………it drives like a two stroke anyway.

When you put the standard cams back in it…..you’ll blasphem no more!!…………..and it will do 20,000kms+ between ring sets!!

    Crash

Ok TB my bike is full stock standard as well so no wonder you are not in a big hurry to swim it across dingo dell

    Dr D

What are you talking about D ?? Camshafts dont help you cross a river, and Crash was doing it and we really only wanted one bike to go across so only one would be drowned, didnt you wonder why Crash was getting ready and no one else, hence everyone looking at you funny :P But the looking at you funny happens all the time I imagine so you probably did get it

PS that xr that crossed is as standard as yours, but he approached it different  if you watch the videos

TB if you rode a two smoker know after you 6fiddy, you would need to carry a spare set of rings in your bum bag mate!!:P

Yeah could be right mate  but not replacing my bike for a long long time, nothing to replace it with (that would be my choice but only a smoker for cheaper running costs ):P

    TB

As if you care about running costs TB.

Anyone who mounts a new rear tyre every second ride and uses a bucket of Shine and Go each wash is not concerned with the cost, they do it for the love:)

Yeah but if I reduce running costs I can fit a new tyre every ride and fill a sheep dip with bike shine and run the bike through it

Whats wrong being well prepared :(

Did you ever sort out what happened, Ollie was it chain off and locked the box up or did it select two gears and the shock broke the gears and threw the chain? I was only wondering as if it threw the chain first you would think it would have jammed up on the case before it could jam and then damage the box and as lots of bikes throw chains and damage case but not destroy boxes . I am sure I read somewhere as I mentioned when it failed that I saw something about the boxes? It would be a rotten feeling with a new bike under 1000kms, i know how gutted I felt when I thought mine had done a gearbox at Hillend and then to find out it wasnt excessive  and without pulling it down to be going again was such a relief :)

Thanks TB;) Everyone who has ridden mine has come away with a positive thing to say, Not everyone likes 2 stroke power and I wouldnt recommend if you had a lot of commuting on the cards. The Gasser is probably the tamest of all the manufacturers but that is a good thing in my books perfectly suited to trail riding.

They definatley need a pipe guard and bash plate, thats why I made my own;) but they are readily available from dealers.

    Ollie

Yeah I agree, dont see many of them around.

Its hard to not be impressed by Champo’s TM mate it does everything, everywhere so well, not a issue no fork seals leaking nothing bar a piston I think for a freshen up certainly nothing major and has done the miles and been raced. Come to thing of it Menace’s and DR D’s Ktms also seem to adapt to anything very well and the Kato’s are proven no known issues, solid bottom ends not gearbox problems and dealers everywhere given good buying power. But PDS

Two strokes my word its like growing up all over again  and the smell :)

I wonder where ADB are going to place it in their shootout?

Position in ADB shootout’s usually depends on how much they spend on advertising.

That means GG and TM have no chance??? :(
Maybe if they give us some new bikes to test we can do a review, that would be fun.

Would be more honest I reckon, as none of us ride them except Ollie

The power of the GasGas can be adjusted easily and inexpensively according to the individual. This is done by playing with the base gaskets and the carby (Keihen 38 PWK) and of course the Muffler/pipe if required. It has a rather heavy flywheel which makes it a torque monster:woohoo: The six speed box is a bonus and it is one of the sweetest handling bikes Ive ever ridden and theres been a few:laugh: Plastics are good now as they are made by Polisport. The only real disadvantage is that there is not the same amount of bling or accessories out there compared to the Jap bikes or KTM. Spares are easily available Australia wide and are well priced. As long as the anvil for a seat has been replaced which Im sure it has it should be a great buy and you will definatley be seeing more of these Spanish senorita’s in the Aussie bush.

    Ollie

Wasting your time in the Navy Ollie  I know from your tyres your a hell of a salesman but even thats impressive :P

    Nice job
